The overall objective of the project:
Contribute to reducing the negative repercussions and impacts of the spread of COVID-19 and the long-term crisis on the vulnerable people in NWS
Main activities:
ERL cluster
Establishment of 3 workshops for producing reusable masks,
Identifying women who will participate in the Cash for Work activities,
Implementation of Cash for work activities in the workshops established.
WASH cluster
Supply needed diesel fuel to operate water stations and systems in the targeted communities for six months.
Conducting regular water quality testing at the household level in all targeted locations.
Regular maintenance for the whole water system including the water network, Water stations, pipelines, wells, generators, and electrical equipment
Distribution of Hygiene items which include (Soap + Mask) for one-off during the project.
Delivering hygiene promotion activities through 4 hygiene promoters (Two female) will be recruited for 6 months through a door-to-door visits.
Support the municipality and waste management a system in the targeted locations for 6 months through the provision of regular rehabilitation and maintenance of the 10 tractors and provide needed diesel fuel and daily workers
